2. Can the software be run on other hardware platforms?

Our software is designed to work on OS X (10.3 and upwards) right now. It runs on Macintosh G4, G5 and Apple latest Intel Core Duo computers.

3. Can the software drive widescreen displays?

We drive any screen (projector, TFT, Plasma, LCD displays) that can be connected to a Mac via a VGA or DVI. Any size, any shape and definition!

4. What image quality do you support?

Our software supports all resolutions and ratios. What is paramount is the quality and format of the media file to be played. We can display most common media file formats - MPEG 1/2/4, MOV, AVI, JPEG, GIF, PDF, SWF, TIF and so on. The better the screen, the better the impression you will be able to create!

5. How many devices/players can be controlled from a server?

iAdvertise is scaleable. Through the use of server load-balancing technology, we can create a RAIS (redundant array of inexpensive servers) and can scale the number of players accordingly. We can also 'layer' the servers in a hierarchy, in effect deploying servers at district, state and country levels if required. Our player software can be configured to check a specific iAdvertise media server in the hierarchy, or it can be given an list of iAdvertise media servers to check in order of priority.

6. Do you support TV on screen?

Yes. On 26th October 2006, we released version 1.76 of our suite of software, providing support for the inclusion of live television into the media scheduling process. With this facility, you are able to select which television channel you would like to include into a playlist and how long the television program is on screen for. To achieve this, an Elgato TV tuner needs to be attached, tuned-in and configured to run on the remote player station that is being managed.
